Big news for preventative care! The Illinois Senate unanimously passed HB5318 (No Cost Sharing Prostate Cancer Screenings), picking up eleven sponsors in the process! AACU collaborated with Zero and AUA on this bill and similar bills in several other states. When Governor Pritzker signs the bill, Illinois will be the fourth state to pass this legislation. Many thanks to Representative LaShawn Ford, the original sponsor of the bill, as well as the many legislators who worked to move this legislation through the General Assembly.
