The mission of the American Association of Clinical Urology, Inc is to develop and advance health policy to preserve and promote the autonomy of urologists and support the care of their patients.
With this in mind, the AACU strongly condemns the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe. v. Wade. With this action the SCOTUS has eliminated a right that has protected the health of women for the last 50 years.
Reproductive responsibilities come with reproductive rights, and reproductive rights are the sole purview of the patient. There is no place for political interference in the exam room.
